Deep/Fake-Post/Humyn examines virtual influencers, photogrammetry, and digital doubles. Using a rendering technique that takes two-dimensional data and creates a three dimensional file. A digital double fragments and expands into orbiting polygroups made from .jpegs. A face scan animates the artist’s avatar, gazing at its own digital double. The work reflects on the virtual as a mirror and interrogates the question of agency in software based on sequences and defaults.
